Friends of Wardie Playing Fields
Our Mission
Wardie Playing Fields have been a feature in the Trinity area of Edinburgh for over a hundred years. It is managed and looked after by Edinburgh Leisure in conjunction with Edinburgh City Council. It is home to Broughton Rugby Club and the Dunedin Connollys Gaelic Football Club and used by local schools for sport and recreation.
We are a group of local residents who are interested in preserving this wonderful resource. We want to increase the biodiversity and make sure that the community continues to benefit from everything the Fields have to offer for at least another hundred years.
